I can talk about my projects all day and bore everyone to tears. The transformation that these projects initiate, support, and updraft is really exciting to me. The projects, however, do not define themselves. Listening to our people’s pain points while they struggle toward their vision of a future state is what kick’s off a frenzy of defining the problem(s). Being intimate with our infrastructure, culture, and decision-making process allows any innovator the opportunity to shape solutions. Connecting the well-defined problem with potential solutions builds trust and buy-in. The rest is the repetitive hard work that shapes an MVP and lays out experimentation and discovery until results materialize.
